Our New Garden

We bought Katie and Marin a swing set for the back yard and during the first few weekends in August we (or Chad) had to prep an area in the yard for this momentous purchase. So Katie would be surprised when the swing set arrived and so we didn't have to answer the when-is-the-swing-set-coming question over and over again, we told a little white lie. We said we were planting a garden. Katie got so excited and said she wanted to plant lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes. She got her tools out and worked with Chad to get it ready. She proudly told everyone that we were going to plant a garden. After seeing the thrilled look on her face when we unveiled the new swing set, I don't feel so bad about our lie. She loves it!

Marin needs to grow a little bigger before she fits into her swing but she seems to like it.
